Korean Red Ginseng

One of the most highly valued and expensive herbs due to the health benefits associated with ginsenosides. Korean Red Ginseng is produced from fresh Ginseng roots through steaming and drying. Through this processing, the natural properties of Ginseng are altered and enhanced to be more potent. Red Ginseng generates a warmer sensation than White Ginseng and is, hence, more suited for individuals with colder body constitutions, especially following childbirth. The quality of Ginseng is closely linked to its cultivation history. The longer it is grown in soil, the greater the value of the root and its beneficial impacts. In our products, we only use the finest quality Red Ginseng grown in Korea which has been cultivated for a minimum of six years so you may reap the full benefits.

 

Liquorice

Literally meaning “sweet herb” (gan cao), this plant is traditionally known for its tonifying and harmonizing effects. Liquorice contains glabridin which has a calming effect on dry and irritated skin. The plant’s phenolic and flavonoid contents also act as antioxidants and guard the skin against environmental stress.

 

Silk Protein

This is a hydrolysed protein extracted from the soft, lustrous fibres produced by silkworms. It has great moisturising and skin-soothing properties and also visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkled skin.
