Bentong Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe var. Bentong)

Ginger is a must-have ingredient during the postpartum period owing to its warming and wind-dispelling properties. Bentong Ginger is unique in that it has a better warming effect than other gingers due to higher concentrations of specific phenolic compounds known as gingerols that are responsible for this warming sensation. It also has an aromatic and distinct aroma. The superior qualities of Bentong Ginger can be attributed to its geographical origin where altitude, rainfall, soil and temperature play a vital role in its growth. Bentong Ginger extracts are rich in antioxidants and phenolic compounds, both of which are great for the skin. Its essential oil also demonstrates antibacterial properties. The Bentong Ginger used in our body wash is sourced from the farm in Bukit Tinggi, Bentong, to guarantee its authenticity. We also extract the ginger in-house with utmost care, so that every bottle of our product is filled only with the finest quality Bentong ginger.
